It provides a safe, judgment-free space for users to process emotions and feel understood, ensuring tailored, and readily available support.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Livia redefines digital companionship, offering genuine support by remembering conversations, preferences, and emotions. Unlike chatbots, she provides the warmth of a trusted friend through personalized interactions. By creating judgment-free spaces, Livia addresses global loneliness. Stepping into real-world environments for interactive experiences through AR, while smartwatch integration ensures always-available support. Through intuitive design, Livia makes AI feel personal and alive.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Livia operates through simple, user friendly interactions. Users can call, text, or use AR mode to engage with Livia, who responds with empathy and memory-driven insights. Key features include mood tracking, proactive checkins, and personalized journaling. AR brings Livia into the user's space for lifelike interactions, while smartwatch integration ensures constant support. We struggled to balance advanced AI features like memory recall, mood tracking, and AR with accessibility. External factors like ensuring data privacy and seamless multi-device integration added complexity. Overcoming these challenges required iterative design, real-world user feedback, and innovative use of emotion-driven technology to build a lifelike, empathetic companion.
