PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The Primadonna armchair project began in june 2024 in Itapema and finished in december 2024 in Itajai, Brazil, and it is not yet in production. Its design was meticulously crafted to ensure a balance of innovation, functionality, and aesthetic appeal.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The Primadonna armchair is meticulously handcrafted from sustainably sourced solid kiri wood, valued for its strength and lightness. CHALLENGE: The hardest part of this design activity was creating a unique piece using manual techniques, without relying on advanced machinery. The challenge lay in combining innovation with craftsmanship, while ensuring that the design remained functional, aesthetically pleasing, and scalable. Internal factors, such as a deep respect for traditional methods, and external factors, such as limited production possibilities and technological constraints, required creative problem-solving to overcome and achieve the desired result.
