| DESIGN NAME: Shahi Gulab PRIMARY FUNCTION: Liqueur Packaging INSPIRATION: The packaging design for Maharani Mahansar Vintage Edition Shahi Gulab is inspired by the lush rose farms of Pushkar, symbolizing purity and tradition. The vintage shield element, adorned with a regal combination of black, red, and gold, reflects the elegance and strength of Rajasthan's royal lineage. This design blends the timeless charm of heritage with the natural beauty of Rosa Damascena, creating a visual narrative that resonates with luxury and cultural pride. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Maharani Mahansar Vintage Edition Shahi Gulab is an exquisite creation crafted with the essence of fresh Rosa Damascena, one of the world's most precious rose varieties. This luxurious blend celebrates the regal heritage of Rajasthan, offering a smooth, aromatic profile with the floral richness of handpicked roses. Presented in an elegant vintage bottle, it embodies timeless artistry and sophistication, making it a cherished choice for connoisseurs and collectors alike. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The packaging includes a standard box with a top panel that opens via an upper tuck, ensuring easy access while maintaining durability. The bottle features a rounded plastic tearable strip for secure sealing, which can be removed to open the cap by simple rotation, offering a user-friendly and reliable experience. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The packaging and bottle design blends a vintage aesthetic with fresh colors and bold typography to maintain a balanced, appealing look. The label features thick textured paper with embossing, gold foiling, and UV printing on the embossed areas for a refined finish. The box is crafted from matte thick sheets for strength and premium print quality, incorporating gold foiling and embossing to complement the label's design. These techniques enhance the product's elegance and durability. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Box Size is 140 mm x 65 mm x 240 mm. The Bottle measures 145 mm x 65 mm x 235 mm and The Label Size is meticulously crafted at 105 mm x 1 mm x 120 mm. TAGS: Maharani Mahansar, Shahi Gulab, Rajasthan, Vintage, Heritage, Liqueur, Liquor, Royal, Rajputana RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The design research explored blending vintage Rajasthani aesthetics with modern functionality, inspired by Mahansar Fort's heritage. It involved studying traditional motifs, architectural details, and local craftsmanship through sketches, digital rendering, and field visits. Key findings emphasized balancing intricate details like shield motifs and gold foiling with usability. This approach enriched the design, aligning with consumer expectations and celebrating regional aesthetics in contemporary packaging. CHALLENGE: The challenge was balancing Mahansar Fort's heritage with modern appeal, requiring in-depth research and precise representation. Externally, sourcing textured paper and aligning embossing, gold foiling, and UV printing with the design vision while staying within budget was complex. Overcoming these hurdles involved iterative prototyping, collaborating with artisans, and refining production methods to achieve a seamless blend of tradition and contemporary design.
