| DESIGN NAME: Spiritual Spa PRIMARY FUNCTION: Architecture INSPIRATION: Adhyatma meaning spiritual or higher soul in Sanskrit is a spiritual spa nestled in the seven sacred pools area of Sedona. Also known as spiritual mecca, Sedona draws a lot of people to its vortex sites. Vortex sites are enhanced energy locations that facilitate spiritual healing by exploring your relationship with your soul and the divine. Spiritual healing is believed to be a process of cleansing your Mind, body and soul, clearing any blockages and restoring the balance of oneself. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Spread over an acre of land this spiritual spa is seeking a balance between architecture and the surrounding environment. Designed keeping the principals of sustainability in mind this spa tries offers a design keeping the future generation in mind. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Seamlessly integrating with nature, this holistic design focuses on spiritual wellness which can be defined as the state of harmony, in which all your inner energies are perfectly balanced. The space is designed to provide its users with a rejuvenating and perpetually productive experience, be it letting go of their negative energies or embracing positive energies. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: Conceptualized in April 2024. The location is Sedona, USA. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Locally sourced environmentally friendly materials like recycled wood and glass are used. The aim of this spiritual spa is to provide people with an escape from their hectic lives to find inner peace and healing while giving them perceptions for how to maintain an inner spiritual harmony once at home. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Recycled wood and glass is use to promote sustainability. Solar cells have been strategically placed to harness the optimum sunlight and generate energy. She is a recipient of numerous prestigious international design awards. Throughout her career she has overseen production and design of different architectural marvels while providing user and client satisfaction. Her mission has always been to create meaningful designs that add value to the existing community. Her consistent dedication has earned her great recognition in her field.
