| DESIGN NAME: Rain Curtain PRIMARY FUNCTION: Multifunctional Humidifier INSPIRATION: The 720 Air Purifier Humidifier features active water circulation spray technology, directing water to the top of the cartridge for downward spraying. This design separates the cartridge from the water tank, minimizing bacterial growth. It includes four air purification and five water anti-bacterial functions for fresh air. The "rain curtain" translucent window showcases the technology, simulating rain on glass for a soothing humidification experience. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Traditional siphon mistless humidifiers can promote bacterial growth due to immersed cartridges. The company developed Living Water Circulating Spray Humidification Technology, which sprays water onto the cartridge from above, keeping it soaked and improving efficiency. The cartridge is separated from the water tank to minimize bacteria. The "rain screen" window visualizes the humidification process, with droplets flowing like "rain mist" on the transparent PP surface for a natural experience. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Users can control the product via the "Smart Life" app or the front touch screen, allowing them to set fan speeds, humidity levels, and switch between preset modes. The screen will prompt users to clean the filter when it is exhausted. When the top circular screen shows "00%" for the water tank, users can easily fill it with tap water through the top port. The water tank includes five levels of antibacterial technology to purify the water at the source. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project officially started in Beijing, China in March 2023 and will be completed and listed in China in October 2024. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The company designed the "Rain Curtain" semi-transparent window to showcase its water circulation spray humidification technology, allowing users to see rainwater effects on glass. Emphasizing "less is more," the product's front was simplified, focusing on the round screen and transparent window. The air intake grille is cleverly hidden on the sides and back, while the square and round contours help it blend seamlessly into various home environments. The 6L water tank allows for 19 hours of continuous use. With a particle CADR of 400, it purifies areas up to 48 square meters. It features a dynamic humidity algorithm for intelligent adjustments, preset modes, and an automatic air-drying function. It also monitors temperature for optimal humidity and includes a sleep mode for added comfort. CHALLENGE: Traditional siphon humidifiers use soaked filters, which can cause bacteria to grow in the water. Generally, if the filter is not soaked in water, the humidification efficiency may be reduced. To this end, the company has developed a live water circulation spray humidification technology that sprays water from above to the humidification filter to keep it moist at all times and improve humidification efficiency. The filter is separated from the water tank to reduce bacterial growth.
