| DESIGN NAME: Chillwild Spring PRIMARY FUNCTION: Herbal Set Package INSPIRATION: Inspired by the renewal of spring, the resilience of bamboo, and the balance found in traditional tea culture, this design translates natural elements into a contemporary visual language. Light and shadow effects mimic the shifting qualities of spring sunlight, while the gradient green glaze reflects the energy of growing bamboo. The minimalist aesthetic and the brand signature greater than symbol express growth, harmony, and mindful living. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Chillwild reimagines herbal wellness by integrating traditional Chinese medicinal principles with modern lifestyles. Rooted in the philosophy of food as medicine, it offers a convenient yet culturally rich experience. The minimalist packaging features dynamic light and shadow patterns that evoke a sense of nature and calm. All materials are plastic free and FSC certified. A bamboo-joint ceramic cup, symbolizing seasonal renewal, adds a poetic touch to everyday wellness rituals. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The outer box opens like a gift, revealing individually sealed herbal packs arranged in orderly rows, inviting a sense of calm and ritual. As light hits the textured surface, shifting shadows mimic leaves in motion, creating a dynamic visual experience. The greater than symbol on the box guides the eye forward, subtly suggesting progress and wellbeing. Each element encourages users to slow down, reconnect with nature, and embrace wellness with intention. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The packaging uses recyclable paper, biodegradable materials, and plant based corn fiber tea bags to ensure a plastic free solution. A 3D foil stamped logo forms a subtle embossed texture that interacts with light. The bamboo joint cup is produced with traditional ceramic methods and modern glaze techniques, using a gradient green glaze that diffuses upward to resemble the natural growth of spring bamboo. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Outer packaging dimensions: Width 332 mm x Depth 100 mm x Height 80 mm. The box contains 16 individually sealed herbal sachets and one handcrafted ceramic cup. Each sachet is single serve, vacuum sealed, and placed in an inner paper drawer tray for protection and organized presentation. All materials are biodegradable and plastic free. These insights informed the formulation of herbal blends using principles from traditional Chinese medicine, guided by the philosophy of food as medicine. The design integrates elements like bamboo, garden shadow play, and seasonal symbolism to reflect cultural roots while addressing modern wellness needs. CHALLENGE: The challenge was to merge aesthetics with the brand wellness philosophy, making the packaging both visually appealing and meaningful. A minimalist approach integrates natural elements such as tree shadows and bamboo motifs to create an open and balanced feel. A soft color palette and light interactions enhance the design, capturing Eastern aesthetics and the essence of renewal.
