PRIMARY FUNCTION: Multifunctional Wristband
INSPIRATION: Its design is inspired by a deep understanding of the energy cycle in nature and the urgent need for modern people to pursue a healthy and environmentally friendly life. The innovative use of the three major technologies of solar power storage, biofilm power generation and kinetic energy storage, which realises the recycling of energy, allows users to say goodbye to power anxiety completely.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The wristband cleverly integrates the three cutting-edge technologies of solar energy storage, biofilm power generation and kinetic energy storage, aiming to bring users a green and convenient smart wearable experience. The wristband not only has a stylish appearance and high-precision exercise data recording function, but also realises the recycling of energy by capturing natural light, trace energy from the human body and kinetic energy from exercise.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Product Interaction: Touch and Gesture Control: Convenient operation through touch screen and gesture movements.
Magnetic charging: simplify the charging process and improve durability.
Bluetooth and APP synchronisation: connect with mobile APP, synchronise data and manage remotely.
Quick operation and personalisation: one-button operation, personalised dials and reminders.
Health monitoring and emergency warning: real-time monitoring of physiological indicators, timely warning of abnormal conditions.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in April 2024, ended in July 2024 and was exhibited at Han Art International in August 2024.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Optimise the charging experience and explore more efficient and convenient charging methods, such as wireless fast charging, solar charging with kinetic energy recovery, etc., to reduce users' reliance on power. Improve the accuracy and comprehensiveness of health monitoring, introduce new biometric technology, AI algorithms, etc., to provide users with more personalised health management and early warning services. Focus on user interaction design, simplify the operation process, and improve the friendliness and aesthetics of the APP interface to ensure that users can easily get started and enjoy the process.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: This product study collects user feedback through online questionnaires and other means. The results show that users attach great importance to the health monitoring accuracy, charging convenience and information reminder function of the wristband. Users want to optimise the health monitoring algorithm, increase the choice of wristband materials, simplify the APP operation process, and improve the efficiency of solar charging.
CHALLENGE: Diversity of user needs: Everyone in society has their own unique habits and needs, how to ensure that the product meets the needs of the majority of people and at the same time provides enough room for personalisation is a major challenge for the design team to face.
Privacy and data security: As more and more data is collected by the wristband,how to ensure that the user's privacy is adequately protected to prevent data leakage and misuse is an issue that the design team must pay attention to. The research team needs to adopt advanced encryption technology and data protection measures to ensure the security and privacy of user data.
Socio-cultural adaptability: People from different regions and cultural backgrounds may have different levels of acceptance and expectations of bracelets. The design team needs to study the cultural practices and consumer psychology of different regions to ensure that the product can be widely recognised and enjoyed globally.
