| DESIGN NAME: Snc PRIMARY FUNCTION: Convenient Smart Streetlight INSPIRATION: Thanks to its flat and square modern design, SB20 is harmonious with any environment. The integrated product made of aluminum alloy is both exquisite and robust with smooth curves and seamless surface. The design, without frills, shows a pure, minimalist aesthetic, representing the perfect fusion of art and engineering. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: SB20, as a flexible lighting luminaire series whose lenses support one button replacement and magnetic connection, effectively ensures optimized energy use and easy maintenance. It boasts an intelligent lighting management system, and features excellent expandability and compatibility to allow for sensor integration, meeting personalized lighting needs and promoting sustainable development. The product can integrate into the future urban landscape with a more forward looking approach. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: SB20 enables color temperature and power adjustment through mechanical manipulation. The former creates an appropriate ambiance for the public space based on occasions and times, while the latter changes brightness according to actual needs. SB20 with the proprietary DC sensor base and Z10 base makes possible lighting management and sensor integration, allowing users to install components like photoresistors and microwave sensors or connect the product to an intelligent lighting system as needed. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in Shenzhen in June, 2023 and finished in December, 2023. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The adjustable head and various mounting bracket options enhance the lighting performance and meet diverse lighting needs. The power chamber is easy to open and close, which, paired with the safety lock design, contributes to easy maintenance and high safety. The integrated product made of recycled aluminum alloy achieves an IP 67 rating to ensure normal work in different outdoor environments. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 723*270*160mm TAGS: intelligent lighting system, one button replacement, magnetic connection, expansibility and compatibility, personalized lighting solutions RESEARCH ABSTRACT: To optimize lighting efficiency, reduce maintenance costs, and improve sustainability, this product features minimalist design, convenient replacement, as well as excellent expandability and compatibility for integration. It saves time and labor costs, enhances lighting performance, and minimizes energy waste, providing a more efficient and environmentally friendly lighting solution for cities. CHALLENGE: The challenge was how to achieve easy maintenance. SB20 enables users to effortlessly replace lenses by pressing the touch sensitive buttons to release the lens frame, achieving quick changes in lighting distribution without professionals or tools. Such a design meets lighting requirements of different settings. The magnetic design ensures the flatness of the optical components to guarantee precise light distribution, which improves the performance and maintainability of the product.
