| DESIGN NAME: Yenikoy House PRIMARY FUNCTION: Interior Design INSPIRATION: This design inspired by the view of this place. It was wanted to feel the city while inside the house. So all the interior shaped around this feeling. The furnitures was kept simple to enhance the effect of the view and ensuring that the focus remains on the dynamic city outside, allowing residents to truly feel the vibracy of the location. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: It is a interior design residential project. The house is Located in Istanbul, Turkey. It is a 250 mt2 house. It is 4 room house with 2 bed rooms, 1 gym area, living area and a kitchen. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: After the design and renders of the project, the products get ordered and the furnitures, than the production has started and after 5 moths everything was done. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in February 2023 in Istanbul and finished in June 2023. FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Interior Space and Exhibition Design |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Tadelakt was used for the walls and the ceiling, it is a natural tint and a breathing ecological material. The approach was to try to be as simle as possible. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 250 m2 inside and 80 m2 terrace TAGS: Modern style RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Designer's own style and research for the material and products. CHALLENGE: This project is mostly based on simplicity. ın this project you can see the vivid part of the decoration by the chosen art pieces and some limited edition products. NAME: Chiara de Rocchi PROFILE: Born in Istanbul, into an Italian family, Chiara de Rocchi grew up in a home that was always focused on art and design. Growing up in a multi-cultural family and experiencing both Turkish and Italian culture broadened Chiara’s perspective and prepared her for a creative career. After graduating from high school, Chiara moved to Milan to study Interior Design at NABA. A hub for culture and creativity with its unmatched architecture, history, and contemporary art scene, Milan was so much more than a city she studied in for Chiara. Creating her designs since 2018, Chiara refers to her works as functional art pieces. Beginning her artistic journey by designing decorative and functional objects, Chiara now continues her path by creating sculptures and interior designs. |
