| DESIGN NAME: Iqi Global Headquarters PRIMARY FUNCTION: Office Space INSPIRATION: Inspired by the idea of redefining traditional office environments, our goal was to design a more fluid space that promotes creativity and collaboration. We utilized vibrant colours, including the brands signature orange, and strategically designed multifunctional areas to enhance innovation. Through detailed research, we ensured the workspace could comfortably accommodate 350 employees while maintaining an open, modern, and dynamic atmosphere. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The design is a vibrant, functional workspace spread across three floors for a prominent global tech-driven real estate agency. Features include phone pods, co-working spaces, cafes, and meeting spaces. The design seamlessly integrates functionality with vibrant aesthetics, creating an environment that fosters creativity and collaboration while meeting the varied needs of its users. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The office spans three floors, beginning with the 26th floor, which is open to the general public, creating an inviting entry point. Moving to the 27th floor, you'll find subsidiaries, meeting rooms, and hot-desking areas, designed for flexible work and collaboration. Finally, the 28th floor is dedicated to the management and operational teams, offering a vantage point that overlooks the rest of the workspace, creating a natural flow from public to private areas. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project commenced in August 2023 and completed in January 2024. The project location is in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: This office stands out for its incorporation of cutting-edge smart technology. Employees can efficiently book meeting rooms through an intuitive online system, while smart thermostats and lighting controls adjust settings to maximize energy efficiency. These innovations not only streamline daily operations but also promote a sustainable and intelligent working environment. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 38,000sqft TAGS: Office, Colourful, Dynamic, IQI, Inspire, Workspace, Vibrant, Creativity RESEARCH ABSTRACT: We aimed to emphasize the integration of youthful and vibrant elements into the office space, striving to strike a harmonious balance between aesthetics and practicality. Our goal was to foster openness, comfort, and imaginative thinking. The vibrant colour scheme chosen reflects the company's dynamic and multi-solution approach, resonating with IQI's identity. CHALLENGE: The main challenge was integrating dynamic design elements with the client's vision of fostering a vibrant work culture while upholding professionalism and the company's values. A key obstacle was concealing structural columns within the design to reduce visual obstructions. Additionally, ensuring adequate infrastructure, such as air conditioning, for large, open areas required careful planning. Beyond aesthetics, the design focused on creating a functional office space that meets diverse needs efficiently.
