| DESIGN NAME: Science Stories in Daily Life PRIMARY FUNCTION: Textbooks INSPIRATION: In the future, high school science textbook cover design. It consists of physics, chemistry, life sciences, earth sciences, mechanics and energy, matter and energy, cell and matter metabolism, earth systems science, electromagnetic and quantum, the world of chemical reactions, the inheritance of living things, and planetary space science. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Recognizing the differences between science textbooks with various fields, the content characteristics of each subject in a common direction were designed effectively to create good synergy for the common purpose of science books along with the characteristics of each field by using new and imaginative illustrations that were not seen in existing textbooks. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Without missing the daily moments of science, it was composed of original illustrations and imagination so that it was easy to understand the curiosity and subject of the textbook content. In addition, common directivity was shown through graphic connectivity and simple color use to set the common direction of the textbook cover. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: It was planned and produced in 2024 and will be used as a textbook from March 2025. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Considering the characteristics and contents of each subject, the design was designed to show clear characteristics through post-processing such as holograms along with the use of color and graphics suitable for each subject, With a little wit and fun details, the user could accept it more positively, making it a friendly sign. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Frame: 210×275 mm Height: World of chemical reactions (5mm), chemistry (8mm), matter and energy (5mm), mechanics and energy (5mm), physics (9mm), electromagnetic and quantum (5mm), earth science (8mm), planetary space science (5mm), earth system science (5mm), life science (9mm), biological inheritance (6mm), cell and metabolism (6mm) TAGS: textbook, education RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Consistency and differentiation made it possible to intuitively know the characteristics of each subject, giving convenience to use, It is designed to express the contents of each subject in a fun and interesting way so that students can accept science subjects positively with empathy and familiarity. CHALLENGE: The identity was created by using graphic illustrations that show the contents of the textbook well, and the use of simple colors increased the scalability of the series, enabling the cover design of various series.
