| DESIGN NAME: Whale 0 PRIMARY FUNCTION: Pillow INSPIRATION: The pillow draws inspiration from whales swimming in the ocean, which, as a large and gentle creature, symbolize peace and protection. The whale shaped pillow is expected to bring the vastness and tranquility of the ocean to the bedroom, making every sleep become a spiritual voyage. Taking into account the streamlined body of whales, the pillow shape is further optimized to ensure that the pillow provides the optimum comfort and support for users regardless of sleeping positions. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The artistic pillow with a unique bionic whale shaped design emotionally gives a sense of peace and safety. It can perfectly adapt to various sleeping positions, which well fits and supports the head, face and neck. Carbon dioxide polyol and natural bio vegetable oil polyols as main materials align with the idea of environmental protection. The distinctive materials, and the fully water blown green foaming process, offering users a 0 pressure comfortable sleeping experience. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The design fully considers convenience of use. The unique ergonomic whale shaped pillow, through meticulous adjustments to the shape, can flexibly adapt to various sleeping positions like sleeping on the stomach, back or side. Thanks to its materials and structure, it can perfectly fit and support the head, face and neck, avoiding the discomfort during sleep. The materials, also featuring outstanding hydrophilic properties, are dry, crisp and breathable, ensuring a more comfortable experience. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Carbon dioxide is captured to react with propylene oxide under a special catalyst, so as to produce poly propylenecarbonatepo SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 65*44*12mm TAGS: pillow, bionic whale shape, sustainable materials, hydrophilic properties, 0 pressure sleeping experience RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The design team, utilizing the knowledge of materials science, bionics and ergonomics, has successfully developed a environmentally friendly, comfortable and healthy new pillow. The tests show that the pillow can significantly improve the sleeping quality of users, satisfy their emotional needs, and ease the environmental burden. The innovative materials coupled with the bionic design provide new ideas and new directions for the design of modern home products. CHALLENGE: The challenge was achieving a deep combination of functionality and aesthetics. Based on that, this bionic pillow integrates the whale shape to ensure aesthetic appeal and practicality, thus meeting the demand of users in different sleeping positions for comfort. Carbon dioxide capture technology paired with materials science enables the application of green and premium new materials, bringing users a healthy, comfortable sleeping experience while fulfilling their emotional satisfaction.
