RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The foyer was designed to address the feng shui issues of a narrow space and the through the door brake. The team utilized a skeleton design to reduce the pressure and sense of closure in the space. Additionally, long rainbow glass was used to avoid the feng shui concern of looking directly into the living room upon entering. Mirrors were also placed on the sidewalls to create a broader feeling of space. Various design techniques and material elements were incorporated to add depth to the area.
CHALLENGE: In the combined gaming and collection room, RGB lights were used as the foundation to create a magical gaming atmosphere. Recessed lights with natural light sources were utilized as lighting fixtures in the display cabinets to highlight the colors of the GK figurines, turning them into colorful wall decorations.
