| DESIGN NAME: The Healer Waves PRIMARY FUNCTION: Clinic Design INSPIRATION: Water has helped humanity to heal and survive for thousands of years. Today there are many medical methods for healing, but water is an important source of mental health. From this point of view, it is clear how much water is needed to sustain the cycle of life. Inspired by nature, this concept was developed. With this concept, it is aimed that future visitors will feel the healing power of water and feel nature indoors. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: A new perspective on the clinic design. Using nature's wanderers for relaxation on the visitation to the doctor. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: A refreshing and non-traumatic dentist experience! PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: 4 months estimated duration, ISTANBUL FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Interior Space and Exhibition Design |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The healing power of water is indicated in this work. This is a demonstration of waves sightly. The ceiling describes the shapes of the waves which consist of insulated panels. The bright sides of the ceiling are barrisol. The wall in front of the benches consists of digital screens. Marbles with water patterns are used on the floor. Also; interior plants are used in a way that can be seen inside of the clinics. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Clinics: (each) 15 m2 x 2.70 m Lounge: 150 m2 x 4 m Total: 300 m2 (with other utilities) TAGS: Clinic Design, Waves, Fresh Clinic, Relaxing Interior, Healer Waves RESEARCH ABSTRACT: It is foreseen to raise awareness that water is the most important part of the life cycle on Earth. A design was made by taking nature as an example. All textures, colors, and patterns are used in their simplest form to relieve the stress that people experience in their daily lives. It is aimed to make the place where people go for treatment a place to relieve anxiety. CHALLENGE: During the conceptualization process, I had clear ideas, but I had a hard time translating them onto the screen. My goal was to make sure that people understood at first glance what I was really thinking, and what I really wanted to draw. It was a bit difficult to find material that I could adapt to my concept. Because I tried to achieve a space that was fresh and tireless and at the same time simple. I think I achieved my goal.
