| DESIGN NAME: Chronos Cube PRIMARY FUNCTION: Infinity Whirlpool INSPIRATION: Inspired by the eternal elegance of natural elements and the simplicity of modern architecture, the Infinity Whirlpool is a blend of organic form and contemporary design. The concept was born out of a desire to create a water feature that was both a functional masterpiece and a work of art. Built on the raw, enduring beauty of monolithic structures, this hot tub mimics the strength and simplicity of stone, combined with cutting-edge technology for unsurpassed quality and performance. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Infinity Whirlpool, with its symmetrical square shape and clear lines, combines timeless elegance and modern innovation. Its monolithic, stone-like appearance sets it apart, showcasing top-tier craftsmanship and advanced technology. This design is not just a luxurious water feature but a symbol of aesthetic excellence and functional superiority, making it a standout in contemporary design. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Our Infinity Whirlpool is a marvel of design, simple to use and extraordinary in function. Imagine a hot tub with the elegant look of real stone, ready to use right out of the box. No need for complex setup; it's like placing a piece of art in your space. It changes the game by blending beauty with the latest technology, all compactly designed to fit seamlessly. Just fill it with water, and with a touch of a button, it's ready to relax in. Plus, you can configure, pay, and order it online directly, making it incredibly convenient.Its innovation lies in making luxury and durability accessible, performing better because of its unmatched quality and ease of use. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The foundational concept of our project was conceived in March 2021, leading to the official establishment of the initiative on July 12, 2021, concurrent with the construction of the first prototype. Following approximately 2.5 years of rigorous development in Germany, the Chronos was globally unveiled for the first time on November 30, 2023, marking its official launch. This milestone not only signifies the culmination of dedicated effort and innovation but also marks the beginning of a new era in our field. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Our Infinity Whirlpool represents a genuine leap in innovation, as we are the first and, to date, the only ones globally to offer a finished product featuring a real stone surface. This product fundamentally differs from conventional solutions, as it does not require on-site construction but is delivered as a completely finished, innovative product straight from our factory. Such an offering has not been seen in the industry before. The distinctive features of our product lie in the unique combination of materiality, exclusivity, stability, longevity, and the precision typical of German engineering. Furthermore, we have succeeded in integrating all the technical components into the most compact space, making our Infinity Whirlpool a prime example of functional design and technical excellence. After extensive research and realizing that such a product was missing from the market, we decided to fill this gap. Despite initial uncertainties about how to construct it, what the final product would look like, and its capabilities, we embarked on this project with the primary goal of creating an aesthetic and design-focused masterpiece worthy of a place in the most exclusive residences. It was crucial for us to present our planet's most precious resource, water, in the most dignified manner possible. This involved creating an inspiring infinity effect and a relaxing waterfall that visually and sonically reminds one of untouched nature, thereby crafting a sanctuary of peace within one's own home. Our approach aimed to foster a deep connection with the natural world through our design, while providing a luxurious retreat that blurs the lines between indoor and outdoor spaces, between art and functionality. CHALLENGE: The most challenging part of this design was to recirculate the natural waterfall that flows over the edge and down the outer wall back into the filter circulation system without having to compromise on the visual aesthetics. Achieving this required innovative engineering solutions to seamlessly integrate the filtration system preserved the whirlpool's, mesmerizing effect of the cascading water. This demanded a delicate balance between form and function, where every element of the design had to contribute to both the visual appeal and the operational efficiency of the whirlpool. The success of this endeavor hinged on meticulous planning and precise execution, ensuring that the water's movement remained a captivating feature without revealing the complex mechanisms that make it possible.
