| DESIGN NAME: Feiyu Technology 3Plus PRIMARY FUNCTION: Backpack INSPIRATION: Inspired by the flying fish, which use their fins to balance in water and disperse gravity while gliding through the air, the design team has bionically created a dual wraparound system that encompasses 720 degrees for load reduction, thereby optimizing comfort during use. Aesthetically, the backpack is available in various color options. It is further adorned with a dreamy nebula pattern, symbolizing the endless journey of learning and the pursuit of dreams in the vast universe of knowledge. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This backpack, designed for the spinal health of children, features a patented dual helical spring structure and a 3D load distribution system across 9 points. Its innovative synergy not only distributes pressure evenly but also lightens the load by harnessing elastic energy to counteract gravity, thereby protecting the spine from excessive strain. Additional features like a reflective strip and a window design at the spring structure add an extra layer of comfort and safety. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: 1.The reflective strip enhances safety at night. 2.The window design at the spring structure simplifies load monitoring at any time. 3.The backpack is deliberately designed to be soft, easily accommodating school essentials like textbooks. 4.It is shaped like a hiking backpack, ergonomically fitting against the back for optimal comfort. Its integrated spring structure automatically adapts the load through the conversion of gravitational and elastic energy, minimizing strain for children. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The design and development of this backpack started in Xiamen, in June 2023. It will be introduced to the Chinese market in July 2024. |

To address this issue, the backpack has been holistically optimized for the spinal health of children. It combines bionic design and structural innovation to balance and reduce pressure on the shoulders and spine, thus fostering the overall health of children. CHALLENGE: Addressing the challenges of load reduction and spine protection, this backpack features a patented dual helical spring system inspired by the shock absorption systems in sports cars. This enables automatic load adjustment via the conversion of gravitational and elastic potential energy during movement. Further drawing on the design of hiking backpacks, it boasts an ergonomic 3D load distribution system across 9 points, strategically zoning pads around the spine and waist for pressure relief.
