PRIMARY FUNCTION: Charging Piles
INSPIRATION: The boat shaped structure of the device is inspired by the principles of marine engineering that aim to improve stability, strength, and streamlining. These principles have been incorporated into the design of the product to enhance its performance and flexibility. The product maintains a low and stable centre of gravity, ensuring balance and stability in all usage situations. This feature prevents the display from tilting or toppling over, making it easy for users to check the charging status.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: With a replaceable combined type adapter as its core highlight, this product adapts to chargers with different jacks, which is ideal for various situations. The product is suitable for outdoor use with high durability and heat dissipation. Additionally, the innovative boat shaped design effectively stabilizes the device, preventing it from rolling or tipping over and facilitating the charging status check. The intelligent app enables users to charge via diverse methods.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The charging adapter can be replaced freely according to the requirements under different situations. The product supports connection with the APP to make online reservations and add chargers. Users can charge through 4G, WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC, and Phone virtual cards. At the same time, the device is equipped with an all-weather display that allows users to check the charging status at any time, providing a more convenient, flexible and efficient charging experience.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: It was designed and developed in Shanghai in May 2023 and is scheduled to be launched in June 2024 in China and Europe.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The device is made up of metal and flame retardant materials and has a protection rating of IP67, thus making it ideal for outdoor use. The body has 2mm wide edges that effectively protect against abrasions to the metal parts. The boat shaped structure design maintains the centre of gravity of the device at the bottom and prevents the display from rolling and tipping. The back of the device has tracks that allow users to fix it to the wall using the wall mounting kit.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The concern over climate change arising from carbon emissions is driving the rapid growth of the electric vehicle industry. However, the current charging products on the market have a single plug and different jacks, making them inconvenient for consumers. To address this issue, a portable charger has been developed with replaceable combined type adapters and other functional improvements. The objective is to maximize charging demand while conserving energy and achieving optimal social benefits.
CHALLENGE: The market has a sore point problem with a single charger plug that is more restrictive in use, and the specification models of plug jacks in multiple regions are different. To address this challenge, a replaceable combined type adapter has been developed. Users can now easily adapt to charging needs in diverse locations or usage scenarios without carrying multiple chargers. This flexibility improves product utility and user experience and reduces purchase and maintenance costs.
