| DESIGN NAME: Xiaoxiaoyouku Magic Puzzle PRIMARY FUNCTION: Game Machine INSPIRATION: The design team, drawing inspiration from the traditional game of Tetris, transformed the puzzle pieces with fixed shapes into modules able to flexibly change shapes. The LED matrix display screen clearly shows patterns of various difficulty levels, making it convenient for comparison. The appearance design adopts geometric elements to create an interesting and creative form. Multiple vibrant color schemes give a sense of liveliness, offering children a pleasant interactive experience. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Inspired by Tetris, this puzzle game console for children aims to improve their perception of colors, shapes and space via a multidimensional puzzle experience. Children can easily change the shape of modules by sliding them and arrange them into the corresponding patterns displayed on the LED matrix display screen. The diverse reward system upon completion encourages children to continue unlocking new levels, whereby to persistently enhance their logical thinking and problem solving abilities. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Each puzzle module has an extendable soft rubber handle for easy handling. The light inside the handle will turn red once the module is placed incorrectly. The LED matrix display screen offers a more intuitive visual experience and a more convenient operation experience. The sensors enable the product to automatically detect the state of passage, celebrating successful completions with fireworks expressions, flashing lights and voice rewards, thereby imparting a sense of achievement to children. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The product is developed in June 2023 in Beijing, and will be launched in March 2024 in China. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The main body of the product is made of safe, nontoxic, and odorless ABS to ensure safety. It combination with soft rubber and anti slip texture to provide a more comfortable experience for children. Additionally, the extendable silicone handle not only makes the product more compact and portable, but also feels soft and comfortable, and is safe and environmentally friendly. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: product dimensions, 130 mm x 186 mm x 22 mm TAGS: puzzle game console for children, puzzle games, innovative sliding design, interesting interaction, diverse reward system RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Nowadays, many parents struggle to balance work and life, resulting in a lack of companionship for their children. Meanwhile, there is an increasing focus on early childhood education among parents. Thus, parents are eagerly seeking products that integrate educational elements into fun games, allowing children to gain more enjoyment and educational inspiration while playing. In this context, this puzzle game console able to enhance multiple abilities of children emerges as the times require. CHALLENGE: The challenge was how to create a product that offers children a comprehensive experience encompassing education, entertainment and companionship. The design team drew inspiration from Tetris and innovatively introduced deformable modules to provide a new gaming experience. Moreover, multiple consoles can be connected via the Bluetooth module to realize racing and multiplayer modes, whose combination with visual, tactile, and auditory elements contributes to an immersive interactive experience.
