| DESIGN NAME: Cadebot PRIMARY FUNCTION: Food Delivery Robot INSPIRATION: Cadebot Robot has been designed to meet both the emotional needs of users and the functional demands of diverse scenarios. Its body design and lifelike interaction redefines how engaging and intuitive an interactive experience can be. L shaped structure ensures unobstructed navigation in various challenging scenarios. Its open design spans up to 270 degrees, ensuring that goods are displayed prominently and are visible from multiple angles. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Cadebot Robot introduces innovative features to enhance smart operations in retail and catering sectors. Boasting an innovative dual screen interaction,that elevates both information communication and interactive experience. It also features an open structure that spans up to 270 degrees, offering access from three sides. Cadebot Robot revolutionizes business ecosystems by providing comprehensive smart services, including delivery, guiding, and cruising. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Cadebot Robot loads dual SLAM for positioning at the centimeter level and precise mapping, adeptly adapting to large intricate restaurants and bustling shopping malls. Its RGBD cameras offer forward detection up to 202 degrees and backward up to 55 degrees, working with responsive sensors for accurate obstacle avoidance. Its humanoid design gives multidimensional feedback on the behaviors of users. To boost efficiency, multiple robots can coordinate to process several instructions in parallel. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The design and development of the robot started in May 2022, in Shenzhen. It was released to the global market in October 2023. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Technology: harnessing dual SLAM and sensor perception for precise obstacle avoidance, and using an automotive grade independent suspension to enhance stability. Material and Process: injection molding using the composite of environmentally friendly ABS and PC, an aluminum alloy transmission shaft precisely crafted through CNC machining, lightweight L shaped open structure, food grade antibacterial PP mats, traceless silent rubber wheels, and a recyclable battery. CHALLENGE: The main challenge lay in improving user friendliness. To this end, the sleek robot is equipped with a head screen and a large front screen measuring 21 inches, increasing the interactive scope by 400 percent through dual screen interaction. Its lifelike expressions and multidimensional interaction features further enrich the user experience. Moreover, its open structure spans up to 270 degrees, ensuring goods are accessible from three sides and easily seen from multiple angles in cruising mode.
