| DESIGN NAME: Bernice PRIMARY FUNCTION: Coffee Table INSPIRATION: As millennials and Gen Z become mainstream consumers, their unique aesthetic and lifestyle are having a profound impact on the furniture market. They focus on personalization and aesthetic expression, while also focusing on the functionality and practicality of the product. We are designing the coffee table and side time necessary for the living room, aiming to take into account the beauty and user needs. Adopt standardized and modular production to reduce waste and protect the environment. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Bernice collection is a colorful, simple and beautiful furniture. Its modular design makes installation simple, parts replaceable and allows for user customization. The open leather storage box on the lower level provides plenty of storage space, which is practical and safe. In addition, the optional hidden strip module makes charging easy and clean. These design details make the Bernice series the preferred choice of the modern consumer. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The modular design of the series allows you to install and replace the parts of the product yourself. The coffee table and the side table are waterproof and wear-resistant for the environmental protection table, and can be placed with daily necessities such as cups and remote controls. An open leather storage box on the lower level provides additional storage space for large household items such as blankets and magazines. The included hidden socket is easy to charge and easier to use. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project was launched in Shenzhen in June 2023 and completed in Shenzhen in September 2023. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Series of products with metal tube as the main frame, metal bending and surface powder coating process to achieve colorful color changes. Saddle leather storage box, eco-friendly board countertop, adjustable foot mat on the bottom. Some products are paired with hidden charging cases, both private storage and cable arrangement. The results show that 75 percent of households prefer a modular and easy to install design, 65 percent value extra storage space, and 80 percent need furniture with a hidden charging outlet to recharge and keep tidy. CHALLENGE: The design process requires an in-depth study of young consumers' needs for coffee tables and side tables to design products that meet their lives and aesthetics. Think about how to balance practicality and simplicity, maximize the use of space and provide storage solutions. At the same time, serial and modular design is adopted to simplify production, installation and component replacement.
