DESIGN NAME: Augerta
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Beer Packaging
INSPIRATION: Augerta has been suffering from poor sales due to its mediocre packaging design. From the perspective of brand communication, we extracted the brand's initials: A as a visual hammer to facilitate brand communication. At the same time, the concise design language is a response to the current aesthetics. De-labeling reflects the brand’s focus on current environmental issues.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: NO LABEL is the biggest change and innovation of Augerta. In order to promote environmental protection and advocate simplicity, the design abandons the traditional dual-label form and integrates the image with the bottle body in a strongly embossed form. When users hold it, they can clearly feel the touch brought by the bottle body's lines and experience the taste of historical heritage.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Through this project, Augusta as the top lager in Tsingtao Beer is lager series, received matching packaging. According to market feedback, with the support of the new packaging design, the spread and sales of Augusta are higher than before. At the same time, it expresses its concern for environmental protection issues by abandoning the traditional double label form.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project starts in Shenzhen, China in January 2023 and ends in Shenzhen, China in December 2023

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Although we have adopted a delabeled design, which makes the whole process more complex and uncontrollable, the packaging design is mainly achieved through the embossing process.

CHALLENGE: The embossing process of graphics on the bottle body is very difficult to realize, and the accuracy of the graphics is hard to control. At the same time, it is also necessary to take into account the prevention of bottle explosion. The two have been adjusted repeatedly for more than ten rounds.
