DESIGN NAME: Orange Manor
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Fruit Packaging
INSPIRATION: The inspiration comes from the buildings of Chu Orange Manor. When mentioning Chu Orange Manor, the mind comes up with beautiful pastoral scenery, with the 'romantic, elegant, delicate and rich' atmosphere of houses and plants as the core visual elements of the brand. The English initials 'CC' of 'Chu Orange' are maximized in the English serif structure, skillfully surrounding the geometric manor.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Their cooperation with Chucheng dates back to 2016. At that time, the brand and packaging design they created for Chucheng garnered high market evaluation and professional recognition. After several years of development, Chucheng has become one of the most influential agricultural brands in China. The traditional spirit of Chucheng has also influenced a growing number of Chinese consumers, making it a role model in the hearts of Chinese consumers.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: They cooperated again to create Chucheng, which is based on Chunong's future plans for different products. Xinchu Orange Manor is divided into three categories: Wotan Orange, Navel Orange, and Bingtang Orange. Based on the subtle differences between citrus fruit categories, the color of tangerine, navel orange, and rock sugar orange is extracted to form the visual series of packaging. From the shape of citrus, the geometric shape "circle" is extracted. The circle is full, mature, natural, plain, and all things are unified. The ribbon of Chinese characters on the packaging enhances the category identification and also resembles a gift wrapping paper tied with a "ribbon" to pack a natural gift from Chu Orange Manor.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project will start in Shenzhen in August 2022 and will be completed in Shenzhen in February 2023.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: It adopts corrugated paper mounted white cardboard, Pantone spot color printing, partial gold printing, and UV process to increase the exquisiteness of the packaging.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The strong corrugated box is good for protecting the fruit from being crushed during transportation. Three different colors and characters can distinguish the categories very well at the terminal, and the corrugated box is easy to degrade, low-carbon, and environmentally friendly, which is conducive to sustainable development.
An orange to an estate. Orange manor. In order to further improve the fruit quality of Chucheng, under the powerful influence of Chucheng, the enthusiasm of the masses to develop citrus planting is unprecedentedly high, driving the fruit industry in Yunnan, China.
CHALLENGE: Fruits are usually sold in bulk in the minds of the public, and most fruit brands have no standards or even brands. However, in recent years, fruits have become more and more giftable, and the fruit packaging on the market is varied, simple, and undesigned. Under the same cost of production, we have devoted ourselves to graphic design to make the packaging more exquisite, highlighting the brand and improving purchasing power.
The "Chu Orange" created by Chu Shijian when he was in his 70s is now sweeping the country. The current planning of the Chu Orange Manor is mainly based on the concept of "regional customs, green ecology, natural leisure, and humanistic display", making full use of the word-of-mouth effect of the Chu Orange Manor.
