PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Water Packaging

INSPIRATION:
Taihe Decoction, recorded in Li Shizhen's Compendium of Materia Medica, is boiled water. Today's Melang Liangbaikai is water that has been boiled at 125°C, which is more suitable for the constitution of Chinese people. The opening of the bottle is inspired by the hot water bottle, which is directly associated with the boiling water. The hot water bottle, as a daily necessity for every household to carry the boiling water, has a more warm feeling.

UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Jinmailang, established in 1994, stands as a leading player in China's food industry. Its Liangbaikai brand boasts an annual sales volume of 3 billion and enjoys high praise and trust from consumers. Drinking cold Baikai has been a longstanding tradition among the Chinese. This habit is deeply rooted in traditional Chinese culture, with red being the color that best represents China. Having a boiling water kettle in every household adds to the warmth of the environment.

OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION:
The round shape of the bottle is seemingly simple, but it contains the nature and the world. The circle is a state of "tending to beauty", representing reunion, completeness and inclusiveness. The bottle body and bottle label are divided into a golden ratio of 1:1.618, which is a more harmonious and rigorous artistic beauty.Round bottles can visually create a larger volume, and can directly expand the display area of the brand and product name by about 1.5 times; The color of Liangbaikai text changes from black to red. Red reminds people of the temperature of cooked water at a glance, which reflects the product properties of Liangbaikai. If the original picture is soft warm water, the present picture is steaming hot water.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY:
The function of the ribs on the bottle body is to ensure that the bottle shape is not easy to deform and increase the supporting capacity. At the same time, the round bottle is not easy to slip and increase the grip and adhesion. The color on the bottle label is simple to reduce the waste of ink, and the main visual logo uses red and varnish technology to highlight the brand.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT:
The bottle label is a new concept of environmental protection and lightweight, and all the printed text adopts the vertical design of black and white book post, making the overall picture more book-like. At the same time, reduce the use of ink color, only retain black and red, reduce resource consumption from the source, effectively reduce the carbon emissions caused by the excessive use of energy, to implement the concept of low-carbon environmental protection with minimal wind.

CHALLENGE:
Its biggest creative challenge lies in the interaction with the citizens, to truly achieve a close connection with consumers, so it jointly launched a Marketing activities: 2023 New Year's Eve, Jinmailang Liangbaikai with a bright hot Chinese red, in Beijing Jingxin Building, Shanghai Global Port Twin Towers big screen shout "want to red want to crazy", "2023 see you", become a hot topic announced upgrade product packaging. Then, over the Qingdao Olympic Sailing Center, 1000 drones were used to launch a large drone light show with the theme of "The Beauty of China is just red". The huge clock, the mighty Chinese dragon, the poetic scroll, the national beauty and the fragrance of peony, and the magnificent pictures were all full of momentum for the "explosion of red" in Liangbaikai.
