INSPIRATION:
This design is inspired by the cultural heritage and ancient architecture of Xi'an, extracting elements from the Terracotta warriors and the ancient famous painting Banquet of Han Xizai, and colors from historical buildings. Combining historical architectural elements with modern dining space, integrating ancient capital culture, lotus flowers and technological elements, and injecting new creativity and technology, it creates a unique dining experience and shows the charm of Xi'an culture.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
This design is an elegant dining space that integrates Xi'an culture and traditional Chinese architectural elements. Black and red tones, red rounded square grid decoration, red hollow rounded square grid partition and background wall and other design features are prominent. Combining dynamic water features and lotus elements, tradition combines modernity, culture and technology to create a unique dining experience.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION:
This design focuses on the usability and efficiency of users, and creates a thoughtful, comfortable and pleasant dining space through reasonable space layout and the use of design elements. Private rooms and banquet halls of different sizes are available to meet different dining needs. At the same time, taking into account the feelings and needs of users, the design equips a number of art installations to decorate the space so as to provide a better dining experience and obtain user benefits. Users can enjoy high-quality catering services, unique cultural experiences and comfortable dining environment.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION:
The project started in Shenzhen, China in February 2021 and ended in Xi'an, China in December 2022.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY:
Based on Xi'an culture, the design takes the Terracotta warriors, Xi’An City Wall and ancient famous painting Banquet of Han Xizai as elements and extracts colors from brand culture and historical buildings, which are integrated into architectural aesthetics, creating a dining environment brimming with cultural connotation and innovative characteristics, bringing consumers a unique dining experience and delivering the charm of the integration of tradition and modernity.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT:
The design not only meets the commercial needs, but also pays more attention to social benefits and sustainability, provides good catering services and cultural experiences for the society, and plays an active role in promoting Shaanxi cuisine and revitalizing Shaanxi culture. At the same time, the uniqueness of the design work helps to enhance brand awareness and the market competitiveness of Lotus Restaurant Group. In addition, we advocate environmental protection in the selection of materials and space design, and are committed to creating a sustainable dining space to achieve more long-term social benefits.
CHALLENGE:
How to integrate the local characteristics of Xi'an into the architectural aesthetics, so that the cultural charm can be seen? This is the difficulty of the project.
