| DESIGN NAME: Nebula PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residential Interior INSPIRATION: Inspired by the phenomenon of the Tyndall effect when light encounters water waves, the designer incorporates the language of flowing light and shadows into a minimalist space. By using natural wooden tones as the base color and integrating Eastern elements, the textured finishes create a sense of flowing light and shadows. The elegant gray tones harmonize with the symmetrical layout favored in the East, enriching the internal layers of the space. Straight-line cabinets are combined with open cabinets adorned with curved decorations and illuminated shelves, blending the elements of square and round. This combination embodies the pursuit of a harmonious unity between heaven and humanity in Eastern aesthetics. The exquisite handle design adds an elegant touch that matches the overall ambience of the space. Together, they create a unique Eastern living experience for users in their home environment. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Wave light is a comprehensive home design solution created by our company based on the essence of Eastern natural beauty. By incorporating various Eastern elements, we adorn the textured gray finishes with soft wooden tones. Additionally, elements such as curved lines, leather, metal, and lighting are integrated to showcase a unique Eastern charm. The integrated design of doors, walls, and cabinets enhances the overall style unity of the space. From the entryway to the living and dining areas, as well as the bedrooms, we aim to provide users with a naturally serene home experience. Our professional custom cabinet system and well-designed spatial flow ensure an enhanced user experience. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: After customers purchase the product, professional personnel will conduct on-site measurements and produce customized products. They will also provide professional installation services at the customer's location. Once installed, users can easily use the product by simply opening, closing, or placing it without any obstacles. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: This project was initiated in Guangzhou, China in October 2022 and the design phase was completed in January 2023. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The products primarily use custom-made wood panels and solid wood as the main materials for home furnishings. They employ industry-leading, formaldehyde-free and environmentally friendly engineered board technology to ensure efficient production and high-quality appearance of the products. Textiles and metal materials are used as functional supports and decorative accents. The entire range of products adheres to the design language of our company's "custom cabinets," ensuring stability and compatibility in the application of multiple materials and maintaining a unified style throughout the home space. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The products are manufactured using a customized production approach and are assembled from modular components. They are flat-packed and have compact packaging, making them easy to disassemble and transport. This method facilitates large-scale production and cost control while reducing resource waste and environmental damage. The product height is 2780mm, while the width and depth are customized according to the size of the space for optimal product dimensions. CHALLENGE: The designer conducted extensive public research on Eastern natural elements and extracted representative imagery from the Eastern cultural system, which was then incorporated into the design. These designs were further refined and transformed into commercially producible panel materials. The seamless integration of handle design and custom systems posed a challenge in this project's development. Through continuous adjustments to the shape, door type, and hardware connection, this challenge was eventually overcome. The combination of various home elements also required significant time and effort in terms of craftsmanship.
