| DESIGN NAME: Oraimo Free Pods 5 PRIMARY FUNCTION: Bluetooth Headphones INSPIRATION: Inspired by the enigmatic charm of a lunar eclipse, the charging case pairs two overlaid perfect circles in a futuristic dark gray hue, enhanced by a crescent shaped light design that mimics the glow of a lunar eclipse. The top cover boasts a luminescence boosting optical coating, enriched by a 3D metallic texture for a shimmering effect and visual depth. The earbuds, treated with iridescent optical coating, shift colors with different viewing angles, making themselves a pair of chic accessory. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Oraimo FreePods 5 redefines TWS earbuds with its high tech styling and superior user experience. It captures the beauty of a lunar eclipse, featuring a unique lighting design akin to the glow of a crescent moon. A translucent finish with a high gloss and a 3D metallic texture further enhance its high tech aesthetic. Moreover, its wide area tap function enables effortless control with just a gentle tap around the ear, augmented by a dedicated app to offer a diverse range of interactive options. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The charging case offers quick access to the earbuds with just a slide. Tapping on different parts of the earbuds will activate inbuilt microphones, which can promptly pick up sound wave vibrations. These signals will then be processed by advanced algorithms, accurately discerning diverse tap commands for efficient control. The synergy of 3mic noise cancellation and a specialized acoustic chamber achieves up to 48dB of noise reduction, minimizing ambient noise for an immersive audio experience. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The design and development of Oraimo FreePods 5 started in Shenzhen, in July 2023. It is scheduled for launch in Africa, in March 2024. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The base of the charging case is precisely coated with metallic paint for a unique tactile experience. The top cover employs a luminescence boosting optical coating for a high tech appeal, and is further enriched by a 3D metallic texture for enhanced visual depth. The earphone is treated with an iridescent optical coating, presenting a dynamic color play.
