| DESIGN NAME: Lucid Barrel PRIMARY FUNCTION: Beverage Dispenser INSPIRATION: The inspiration for this piece came from the image of a classic wine cellar. This beverage dispenser is a contemporary interpretation of the quintessential wine barrel. The designer took the shape of the barrel as a starting point and adapted it to the field of soft drinks. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Even plain water will taste better if it is poured from a beautiful vessel. Lucid Barrel is a professional and stylish way to dispense drinks at a buffet or hotel reception. The item is eye-catching, easy to use, and simple to clean. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: LUCID BARREL can be used as a regular beverage dispenser or as an infuser. Simply add fresh herbs and fruits to the removable infuser and create a refreshing customized beverage. The item is sold with a regular or with a hands-free tap. Being quite portable, it’s easy to transport and move around for functions and events. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Made from high-quality sheets of acrylic, the dispenser has been sustainably designed for minimum material waste. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Dimensions : 14.5 x 9.75 x 20.13 IN, 36.83 x 24.77 x 51.13 CM. Capacity: 5 Gallons. The first area dealt with the regulatory laws of restaurants and catering in the US and Europe. As a result, the product was designed while maintaining the FDA's strict hygiene rules. The second area of the research included the visibility, design, and needs of drinking stations in the world's leading hotels. CHALLENGE: The hospitality industry is very demanding. The beverage dispenser should be very functional, fast and easy to set up for different events, and easy to clean afterward. Additionally, the item should be unusual, Instagramable, and stunning enough to impress even the most discerning guests.
