| DESIGN NAME: JunDao GuiNiang Rock PRIMARY FUNCTION: Chinese Baijiu Packaging INSPIRATION: In Chinese culture, the rock represents wisdom and strength while water means tolerance and sustainability, the combination of two natural materials reflects the value pursuit of successful people. The creative inspiration of the work comes from the unique and rare stone of the production area as well as the mountain spring, presenting a concept of rigid and soft in vision and touch when it combined with the contrast of material, and reflecting the unique cultural, artistic and quality of the product in a natural and simple way. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: In the theme of the combination of artistic conception of Chinese culture together with natural rocks and mountain springs, this commemorative premium Baijiu positioned as a collection and gift for successful people in different industries, reflecting its high-end and stable product temperament as well as the brand cultural value of strong, persistent and persistent. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: It would resonate with consumers because of the beautiful symbolism of rocks and water in Chinese culture. The bottle is creatively expressed in a natural minimalist and artistic way, and the unique slate material of the outer box is drawn from the oddments of the architectural decoration, reflecting the environmental protection concept of design. It could be reused for the purpose of display, collection, and storage. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The black sandblasted glass bottle implies the rocky stability and nobility of the product. The middle of the bottle is polished and designed as a drop of liquor body with protrusion technology, which also resembles the contours of the local valley, indicating the origin features of the product. The outer box is made of rock panels with natural patterns, which makes each packaging box unique and improves the value of collection and artistic appreciation. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Specifications: outer box size length 148mm * width 108mm * height 345mm Bottle body: diameter 83mm * height 240mm TAGS: Chinese Baijiu, commemorative edition, rocks, mountain spring, nature RESEARCH ABSTRACT: In Chinese culture, the character and value pursuit of a person are represented by the quality of a product, while the material and modality of the "object" in nature is usually selected to symbolize the excellent personality. Therefore, in the creation process, it is necessary to not only reflect the intuitiveness and quality of the object, but also integrate it well with the culture in order to meet the quality positioning and spiritual value that the product aims to achieve. CHALLENGE: The frosted rock texture on the bottle must be sprayed with corundum from coarse to fine many times to achieve an overall uniform effect while the process contrast between the polished transparent part of the bottle and the sandblasting texture area is significant. Multiple adjustments are occurred due to the irregular contour of the bottle. A tough requirement lies in the rock cutting process as the slate should be embedded with the wooden box perfectly which is also lead to a high scrap rate.
