RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Divide the space with water droplet, break through the rigid space boundary. Break the circle into curves and recombine to form different structural patterns. The beauty of curve lies in its bending, its flowing and its myriad changes, which can give people the most intuitive visual enjoyment. As Oscar Niemeyer said "I am not attracted to straight angles or to the straight line, hard and inflexible, created by man. I am attracted to free-flowing, sensual curves".
CHALLENGE: Designing and modeling curved shapes is a challenging task and spent a lot of time and effort on it. Designer spent a lot of time thinking about how to design and hand drawn floorplan. Secondly, during the construction phase, creating a curved wall was also a challenge. In the end, we used GFRG (Glass Fiber Reinforced Gypsum) to create the wall and ceiling shapes. This case also features custom-designed unique-shaped doors and utilizes a handle-free door opening method.
