| DESIGN NAME: Infier PRIMARY FUNCTION: Chaise Longue INSPIRATION: They drew inspiration from the aesthetics of sculptural forms and the functionality of ergonomic design to create a chair that would be both visually stunning and comfortable to sit in. The result is the Infier chair, a unique piece that balances form and function with ease. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Infier chair boasts several unique properties that set it apart from other chairs. Firstly, it provides ergonomic support, conforming perfectly to the body, which makes sitting for extended periods comfortable. Secondly, its lightweight foam and frame design provides a feeling of weightlessness while sitting. Lastly, its high-quality wooden material gives it a luxurious appearance and a durability that ensures long-lasting use. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The Infier chair is designed to seamlessly blend into any environment it is placed in. Its sculptural appearance makes it an eye-catching piece that can be used in a variety of settings, from a home office to a commercial workspace. Additionally, its ergonomic design ensures that it is comfortable to sit in for extended periods, making it perfect for both work and leisure environments. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The Infier chair is produced using advanced manufacturing techniques that combine traditional woodworking methods with modern technology. Computer numerical control (CNC) machines are used to shape the wooden components with precision, while the foam and fabric components are assembled using specialized machinery. The production process is highly streamlined to ensure consistency in quality and to minimize waste. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: H(115)*D(60)*W(75) cm TAGS: Ergonomic, Lightweight, Sculptural, Wooden, Foam, Durability, Comfort, Precision, Streamlined, Modern RESEARCH ABSTRACT: To design the Infier chair, extensive research was conducted on the ergonomics of seating and the materials used in chair construction. The design team also conducted market research to understand the needs of potential users and the market demand for a chair that is both comfortable and visually appealing. CHALLENGE: The main challenge of designing the Infier chair was to create a chair that is both aesthetically pleasing and ergonomically sound. The design team had to find a balance between form and function while also ensuring that the chair was easy to manufacture and cost-effective to produce. The goal of the project was to create a chair that would stand out in terms of its design, comfort, and durability while also meeting the needs of a wide range of users.
