| DESIGN NAME: Mamba 80 PRIMARY FUNCTION: Power Catamaran INSPIRATION: Every journey starts with a dream. We call a dreamer's ability to shape his dream as Mamba 80. Among the superheroes, Batman draws attention with his specially designed vehicles, accessories and mystery. We brought this mysterious difference to the sea by combining technology, comfort and aesthetics, and we designed the Mamba 80, a product completely different from those produced in its class until today, and we can say that if Batman was in the sea, this could be his boat. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The exterior design of a boat is the mirror of its user. Features such as interior design, engine capacity, perform'ance are handled after the acclaimed exterior design. What is planned with the Mamba 80 is to attract people's attention with an aggressive design and make them wonder about the technical details of the boat. Then, to make a difference in interior design with layout and design alternatives that can respond to customers with different styles. Minimizing vibration with the catamaran body, getting optimum performance by using a small engine thanks to the special water line, using the latest technology products, etc. When it all came together, Mamba 80 was born. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Mamba 80, which offers a spacious living area to its users in its approximately 55 m2 saloon, is equipped with special workmanship, features such as 4 master cabins, 3 headcompartments, flybridge, large deck seating and sunbathing areas, solar energy panels, boat garage, bow thruster. It aims to offer a unique sea pleasure to its users by designing it according to the latest technology. With its 0.80 m draft, it provides the opportunity to approach anywhere easily. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: Mamba 80 started to be designed about 1 year ago and took its final form in 2023. The actual design implementation and manufacturing is planned to begin after the buyer decides on the options to choose from. Actual construction is expected to take about 12 months. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: While the Mamba 80 was being designed, it was not only design-oriented. Technically, the structural development of the system, hull design, and maximizing the maritime capability of the boat were also considered. A design suitable for equipping with an electric motor version, if desired, has emerged. The Mamba 80 project emerged by combining all the data from engineering to the materials to be used, from the developing technology to the design. CHALLENGE: Aluminum has buildable surfaces that limit 3-axis curvature and detailing, making aesthetic design very challenging. Therefore, it will be the most difficult part of the job not to put the design in the second plan while ensuring durability.
