| DESIGN NAME: Gatorade Fuel Rover PRIMARY FUNCTION: Sports and Beverage INSPIRATION: Empowered with this knowledge, we improved the original Bottle Tree design to add even more functionality and flexibility to the Fuel Rover. Now, with the added features, team staff can use the storage bin located at the bottom of the Fuel Rover for a number of uses, whether packing an extra six bottles in a caddy, storing ice to be used in the bottles, filling the area with supplies, or utilizing the space for collecting any generated waste. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Gatorade® Fuel Rover is the evolution of the former Gatorade Bottle Tree. After the 2020 NFL season, Gatorade gleaned the insight that there was room for improvement when it came to the Bottle Tree. Trainers needed a more efficient and functional way to store and transport a large number of players’ bottles around the field. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: - SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: - TAGS: - RESEARCH ABSTRACT: - CHALLENGE: Since extra storage for supplies was high on the list of needs, the design incorporates a utility panel on the backside to carry three storage bags. These bags can strap to the back of the Fuel Rover to store personal training or dietitian supplies that staffers would usually have to carry on their person or in a fanny pack or backpack. This takes some weight off and enables them to move more freely around the field. Ultimately, the new Gatorade Fuel Rover provides an upgraded management experience for team staff members, while its sleek design adds brand presence on sidelines across all our professional and collegiate partners.
