| DESIGN NAME: Royal Grandeur PRIMARY FUNCTION: Palace Atrium INSPIRATION: A classic interior design inspired by the Baroque style that developed in 17th & 18th century in Italy. A timeless methodology that emphasizes elegance and luxury, it was influenced by the study and analysis of some of the best buildings and palace that have been built in the past ages. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: A central atrium that defines the interior design strategy of the full palace as it connects all the floors by a total height of 12m, it is the main circulation area between all of its spaces as it includes all elevators, staircases, and corridors. The concept was developed using highly carved patterns on the floor, walls, and ceiling all blended together in harmony with a warm neutral color scheme. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: A classic interior design inspired by the 17th century Italy style, a timeless style that emphasizes elegance and luxury PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: This project started in May 2017 and finished the design concept and detailed drawing in September 2017 and finished the fitout works in 2021, located in Doha, Qatar. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Traditional interior design is inspired by Baroque style in 17th ad 18th century Italy decor, it is timeless approach that exemplifies elegance and comfort, the basic elements of the sketch in terms of function and shape have been taken into account and on these basis the main lines of it have been determined to give sense of harmony, taking into consideration the choice of furniture, lighting and decoration to suit the layout. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: A central atrium that defines the interior design scheme of the full palace as it is connects all the floors of a total height 12m, it is the main circulation area between all of its spaces as it includes all elevators, staircases and corridors, length 18m depth 11.8m, h 12.5m. Walls consisting of grg coated wall with the classic decorative moulding and heavy texture wallpaper and cove lights on it. Flooring made of luxury water jet and stone vintage style by customizes color Italian marble, Bianco Vienna , Light and Dark Embrador ,ceiling are of 12mm thickness suspended Knauf gypsum board of grg mouldings. TAGS: Royal palace , atrium, Interior design, classic, luxury, royal classic ,palace design RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The research generally includes the idea of "Revival of classic architecture", which aims to recreate classic architecture once again, but in a different wat in terms of the materials used and the shape in general. CHALLENGE: The height of the space as it connects all the palace floors, achieving elegant look in a classic way by not adding a lot of details in the carvings and walls , hiding the air conditioning system to feel cold air without noticing the diffusers and grills, combining the materials to offer solidity built while giving pleasure to the eye and touch.
