PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Show Unit
INSPIRATION:
The inspiration is coming from the surrounding of the show unit. An environment that's created for the affluent.
The exclusive areas surrounded by the rich nature.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
When we received the brief from the client, it was a show unit for the affluent market. We want to avoid the classic straight- to your- face luxury. This show unit should portray a sense of tastefulness with details hidden in the designs
We have used black and white as the color theme for the show unit with a hint of accents color from the loose furniture or the hanging decoration.
The main focal point of show unit is the entrance. In order to create the WOW effect, we have used a moss art.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION:
The challenge of to construct this interior renovation of the show unit is that, we have to work concurrently with the main builder, as certain part of the show unit has not been constructed yet such as the toilets and the first floor.
The area was pretty secluded and muddy, with limited water resources. Thus, we have to source our water supply at site to ensure the work can be carried out.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION:
The project started in year 2021 during the preliminary design stage. However due to the lock down in Malaysia, we can only carry out the renovation concurrently with the build in 2022.

Our design has incorporated leather finished marble in the dry kitchen and granite cladding the wall and counted of the wet kitchen

This is a show unit with 11500mm x 15850mm specifications

CHALLENGE:
The hardest part of the renovation was the access to the show unit. Imagine the area during the beginning was just a wetland, and we had to carry the materials into the site using truck with chances of it getting stuck in the mud. We are glad we managed to do it anyway and carry out the work with the teamwork from all parties.

I am absolutely in awe of the stunning "Black and White" Show Unit! The interior space and exhibition design is truly magnificent and a work of art. It is clear that great thought and effort has gone into the design and it's execution. The use of color and texture to bring out the beauty and functionality of the Show Unit is commendable. I love how the design is timeless and elegant, never compromising on quality. It is truly inspiring and a source of inspiration for other designers and enthusiasts.
