| DESIGN NAME: The New PRIMARY FUNCTION: Retail Space INSPIRATION: Xidan, the most famous business district in Beijing, has a prosperous history of nearly 100 years. The NEW is the first commercial project built with the theme of "urban renewal", and is a new and younger representative of Xidan Business District. Therefore, this case takes "time and space tunnel" as the beginning of creativity, implying that "THE NEW" not only carries history, but also is developing forward and leading a new era. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The basic concept of "space-time tunnel" runs through the entire project. Use color and light to bring out the main elements to the extreme. The design of the main structure should also be related to the final display content. While not destroying the overall design, the display cabinets and display racks should be integrated into the main structure, which is complete and unified. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Three lighting designs which are main light, strip light and spotlight, application of different degrees of red, combined with the grasp of the transparency of the material itself, etc., finally show the visual level. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The main materials in this project are sun board, light, acrylic, glass display rack and wooden lacquered. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The overall project is 8 meters wide and 22 meters long. The interior includes 10 brand displays, including shoe stores, clothing, handicrafts, etc. TAGS: Interior, Commercial, Retail, Light, Modern, Exhibition, Art installation RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The light is hidden, and the lamp beads cannot be seen. Through continuous experiments, it is decided to press the light strip and the side strips of the fixed light strip into the main structure, so as to hide the light while seeing fewer lines. CHALLENGE: The fixing and radian splicing of the sun board, the hidden light, and the color rendering of the sun board with the light, make the different red colors of each material find the same and harmony.
