In 2018 and 2019, my work was selected to be exhibited at Schmuck, one of the world's most prominent international fairs for jewelry. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: As an independent art-to-wear designer, I focus on designing and producing unique and high-quality jewelry. Each piece is made by hand by expert manufacturers. Jewelry craftsmanship is a skill that takes many years to perfect, and care, patience and passion are essential in every step of our process.
It is a enormous satisfaction to merge my profession as an Industrial Designer with an ancient trade, such as goldsmithing, to create these pieces that I call "Art to Wear", which finds the balance between a piece with artistic and conceptual value and, at the same time, functional and usable.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: My work focuses on creating pieces with a minimalist and pure aesthetic, using clean forms and neutral materials to highlight the form. I strive to tell an idea through the minimum expression. I try to save resources and reduce them as much as possible to focus on purely formal issues. I use materials in the most neutral and precise way possible to generate immaculate surfaces.
I like to make use of abstraction and reduction to suggest an idea without completely defining it, and in doing so, I offer the viewer a sense of doubt that can sometimes lead to complicity or curiosity, but also uncertainty.
I would like to push the boundaries of the concepts I have been working on, taking Haptics and Proxemics as main concepts. I am interested in generating reflection and questioning about the employment and perception that human beings make of their physical space, their personal privacy, how and with whom they use it. I am exploring the need for intimacy, which can be understood not only as sexual intimacy, but also as a sense of closeness. I believe that sensitivity is important in topics such as sensuality, erotism, curiosity, desire, freedom, and empowerment.
CHALLENGE: The design, created in a parametric way through 3D programs, challenged the production to realize all the details to achieve the perfect final result.
The relationship with the proffesionals in charge of production is very important. Maintaining respectful and assertive communication when planting and launching the project is key to get an optimal final product.
Each piece is handcrafted in silver and polished to perfection, thus making a unique piece with a surreal image.
