| DESIGN NAME: Thinker PRIMARY FUNCTION: Kids Library INSPIRATION: this library project design inspired by disney movie, which using bright color matching , streaming shape , and some extra large fixture like curve arch, bookshelf ..... make it like fairly tales and the design using gardening as background UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: this project is quite challenge, as in a small area with multi - function in it, mainly is a library, other than that, will have seminar , kids workshop, teacher training, interactive lesson , story time..... so the design should have multi lighting setting and different floor level and cave arch to separate different zone. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: This project which planned over a year , because this is an renovated existing kindergarten project, it takes a long time to discuss with principle / teacher / and other user, and the design is need to approved by many parties including government parties. This design most interesting things is the kids can involved and can give some ideas on it. And the kids will monitor the processing as their project also, which they will very interested how their ideas to become true PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: This project July 2022 to Feb 2023 , locate in HongKong FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Interior Space and Exhibition Design |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: On this project ,the arch hallway is our focus point , this will represent the passage for kids only. The production difficulties is the scale need to match the existing structure and legal way, the delivery also is a constrain SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: This project is renovated existing staff office area in a kindergarten , size around 300S.M., which will divided into separate office and kids library TAGS: STEM library, Kids Treasure, Think Centre, Multi Function, Story Time RESEARCH ABSTRACT: - CHALLENGE: As this is a kindergarten library project , all fixtures and materials will concern the safety first, and also this is a Christian background kindergarten , so my research will combine some christian stories, STEM education and some kids fairy tale ADDED DATE: 2023-03-01 13:41:20 TEAM MEMBERS (1) : IMAGE CREDITS: Brendan Cheung, 2022. |
