| DESIGN NAME: Shadlee PRIMARY FUNCTION: Mocktail Drinks INSPIRATION: The illustration of popular animals with various colored cuts is attractive and pleasant for every generation. This method helped to create a colorful and happy atmosphere in the design of the label. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Special animal images are used to differentiate the design from other competitors. They are hand drawn in a modern style. High-contrast colors were used to attract more attention on the shelf. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Mocktail drink is a kind of non-alcoholic drink for people who prefer not drink alcohol at parties. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in June 2019 in Tehran and finished in September 2019 in Tehran. FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Packaging Design |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: All the fantasy faces were first selected from the photos, the photos were simplified into geometric forms on paper and finally scanned, Then they were rendered by computer using Adobe Illustrator. In some cases, they were edited several times. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Width 80 mm x Depth 45 mm x Height 290 mm TAGS: Mocktail, Drink, Colorful, Party Drink, Flat Illustrations, Modern Style, Label, Mythical Animals RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Before designing, the design team researched for about 2-3 weeks to see the concept and appearance of other packaging in the markets to know and find their path of design. The imaging technique was chosen to be different and attractive. The design was carried out using a completely colorful space, full of contrast and flat surfaces. CHALLENGE: There were 5 flavors. Selection of 5 animals with visual appeals. Simplifying the forms of animal's faces with a lot of details and colors to make them more harmonious and attractive. NAME: Shadlee Co., Ltd. PROFILE: In 1981 Shams group established their first plant, Sarouneh in Urmia to produce concentrates, purees and fruit juices. Shams group expanded their activities and the business entered the global markets. In 2001 Shadlee was born in Orum Narin plant (the third company of Shams group) to produce juices with different flavors and launched in 2005 in Tetra Prisma packaging. To carry out its mission, it uses organic fruits that are planted and harvested on farms without any crops, Pesticides and chemicals. Shadlee has an organic certification from the British Soil Association as well as the German Kiwa BCS. Production of organic fruit juices and concentrates in 2006. It also produces the first cocktail in Iran with popular flavors and now has a variety of juices, syrups and cocktails. |
