PRIMARY FUNCTION: Large Portable Energy Storage
INSPIRATION: Traditional outdoor energy storage products are inconvenient for users to carry on the go. Thus, this product is designed like a suitcase to enhance its portability. The detachable pull rod and pulley assembly is convenient for maintenance and replacement, thus improving the product life cycle. Featuring high performance, this product can serve as an EPS emergency standby system and switch to an energy storage power supply within 20ms to provide an emergent power supply for work and life.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Jackery Explorer 2000 Plus is a portable energy storage with 3000W power and 2000Wh capacity. The energy storage has a pull rod and pulley assembly, which enables users to pull it, thus enhancing portability. Users can connect two devices in parallel to realize up to 6000W power and a maximum capacity of 24KWh. Thus, this product can meet the needs of users for RV life, outdoor work, and other high-power and large-capacity electricity scenarios.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Jackery Explorer 2000 Plus adopts a minimalist design language. The top flat shape is convenient for stacking. Moreover, the product is designed like a suitcase with a pull rod and pulley assembly, which enables users to pull it, thus enhancing portability. It can interconnect with the mobile APP to realize power monitoring, function setting, remote control, etc.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project will finish in March 2023 in Shenzhen.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The energy storage houses Lithium iron phosphate battery cells and can discharge at minus 30 degrees Celsius. It adopts multi-protection for batteries like the BMS system to ensure safe electricity use. The innovative 3.6KW bidirectional power conversion and parallel expansion technology enables users to connect two devices in parallel to realize up to 6000W power and a maximum capacity of 24KWh. It supports dual fast charging of commercial power and solar energy and can be fully charged in 1.7 hours.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: According to online research and professional research data, high performance and portability are required in high power and large capacity electricity scenarios. The product improves the interior space utility rate and decreases redundant decoration fittings through technologies and structure design to become the smallest and lightest one among its same kind in the industry. It also has a pull rod and pulley assembly to relieve the weight burden, which is convenient to move.
CHALLENGE: The most significant factor of this program is to provide comfortable human-machine operation in complex outdoor scenarios. The newly-added pull rod and pulley assembly involves ergonomics. After various experimental research, we designed the pull rod height to be no lower than 900mm and the ground clearance of wheels no lower than 15mm to conform to the ergonomic height and enable this product to move on grass, mud, gravel, etc.
