| DESIGN NAME: iDwell PRIMARY FUNCTION: SaaS CRM Software INSPIRATION: The valuation of the global real estate market is about $300 trillion, making it one of the largest in the world. Despite its great potential, this industry is still conservative and inert. Property management is the daily oversight of residential, commercial, or industrial real estate by a third-party contractor. Generally, property managers take responsibility for day-to-day repairs and ongoing maintenance and upkeep of properties. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Property management is a complex and stressful. Managers work with a large amount of information, documents and contractors. iDWELL is CRM software specially designed for property management. It automates routine processes and makes your work easier and features include maintenance ticketing, full email and communication integration, automated workflow, and separate landlord and tenant facing apps. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: On the home page, users can view a customizable dashboard with analytics, open tasks and requests, unread letters, and a news feed. To work with a large amount of data, the user can operate a flexible filter system. With the iDWELL app, tenants and owners have access to important documents such as tenancy agreements, EPCs or GSCs. Customer evaluations give you valuable feedback to help you optimise your service. All communication channels such as emails, the app, the Digital Newsboard, and your ERP system are bundled in the one platform. Using smart technology, the workflow bot provides intelligent answers to your customers’ queries and initiates further communication with the contractors you trust. Enquiries from owners and tenants can be processed automatically through the mobile CRM software, making folders a thing of the past. iDWELL has already been integrated with accounting systems such as IGEL and Real Data. That way, data about customers and properties as well as documents and tickets can be transmitted hassle-free. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: For redesign we used Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, After Effect, and Miro. In addition, we used many research tools as user journey maps and user stories to design the experience. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: iDWELL is an international PropTech startup developing SaaS CRM-Software for real estate and property management. TAGS: Services Design, Dashboard, Desktop Application, User Experience, User Interface, Interaction Design, Digital Interaction, SaaS, CRM-Software RESEARCH ABSTRACT: During the initial stage, we analyzed the current design and interviewed users. We found a lot of pain points that managers were experiencing, also we analyzed the market and competitors. Based on the collected information and feedback, we became aware of the scope of the problems and began to create and test hypotheses. In the process, we did a lot of A/B testing before finalizing the redesign. CHALLENGE: The purpose of iDWELL is to provide all the necessary functions and features for real estate management. It was challenging to place all the functions of the platform, big data and analytics on one page, not overloading layout and creating an intuitive interaction for our users. We had to spend an extensive amount of time simplifying the complicated information and creating the perfect user journey.
