| DESIGN NAME: Observing PRIMARY FUNCTION: Jewelry Collection INSPIRATION: The inspiration comes from the Chinese term 'sea of consciousness' which describes thoughts. The communication between people, people and society, and people and the environment will cause ripples in the 'sea'. Our basic cognition will shape these' The basic form of 'ripples/waves& UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The work expresses the layers of water ripples in the human cognitive world with layered round-like outlines and subtly folded surface changes. The nesting pattern of concentric circles exudes the beauty of continuous expansion/collapse, and the overall work reflects reassuring comfort. The combination of K gold, diamonds and crystals creates a rich and colorful picture and a contrast of textures one after another, reflecting the modeling ability and superb craftsmanship. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Boldly sculptural, the design presents a dynamic shape with fluid silhouettes and carefully crafted cutouts. The sandblasted texture of the inner wall and the polished edge form a beautiful contrast and also deepen the feeling of space. The ingenious use of materials makes the light and shadow effects richer and more shocking. The wearer can feel that it conveys a unique temperament. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in Shanghai in August 2022 and will be completed in Shenzhen in January 2023 |

TAGS: Philosophical jewelry, Contemporary jewelry, Handmade jewelry, Avant-garde, Gold, Diamonds RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Observing is all about creating organic looks with a modern flair. On the one hand, it reflects the designer's desire to express the connotation of oriental culture and philosophy, and on the other hand, it can also produce an aesthetic feeling that echoes the cognitive world when worn. Therefore, the designer spent a lot of time studying the shape of the water wave and drawing the wave model, and chose to present two different texture changes on the same object in terms of craftsmanship, so as to deepen the sense of space and flow of the work.
