| DESIGN NAME: Jingjing Cosmetic Organizer PRIMARY FUNCTION: Beauty Storage Box INSPIRATION: It is found that girls generally have many cosmetics and limited storage space. Various types of beauty products are usually placed disorderly together, which takes extra time for their owners to find what they need. In this connection, the designer believes it necessary to create a more convenient storage box suitable for different kinds of cosmetic products. Designed based on the hand movement of users, the box enhances search efficiency and use comfort through clear functional zoning. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Composed of three modules, this storage box provides a large space for holding beauty products. Its zoning and structural layout are designed according to the habits of users, which enhances the comfort of use. The modular design ensures a high degree of flexibility and allows users to arrange and collocate cosmetics and skin care products based on their needs. In addition, as cosmetics need to be stored out of sunlight, the box has an anti ultraviolet coating that blocks 99.8 percent of UV. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Different types of cosmetic products can be put into drawers of different sizes, including special racks for beauty blenders, powder puffs and makeup brushes. Drawers on each rack are opened by pulling, with special buckles to prevent the falling of letter trays and ensuring stability during use. The top cover is half open for easy opening, closing and grabbing. The transparent material helps users quickly find the beauty products they need. The structural design allows for separate storage that complies with the habits of users. The aesthetic appearance ensures natural integration into various styles of home decor. CHALLENGE: The challenge in designing the storage box is how to bring users the most comfortable use experience. After a lot of research and testing, the designer decided to proceed on the basis of the number of beauty products and the movement pattern of users to better meet their habits. The 180 degree rotary lid with a damper can remain half open for easier access to cosmetics.
