| DESIGN NAME: Patisserie Chez Mikki PRIMARY FUNCTION: Packaging INSPIRATION: Funny phrases, just like sweets, have the magic to provide immense relief in life. The concept of Chez Mikki’s packaging redesign aimed to establish a distinctive and refined language universe. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The new packaging design features pastel colors and witty messaging to foster an emotional connection with consumers, with the aim of bringing joy and happiness to their day. Bold typography is utilized to create visually striking designs that stand out on store shelves and captivate the interest of prospective customers. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Since the introduction of the new design, the use of distinctive colors has enabled customers to identify the brand quickly, while the messaging has created a joyful and emotional response. As a result, retail sales have increased, providing support to the local community. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: This redesign had been applied to Chez Mikki packaging since 2020. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The packaging includes a single sleeve, and eco-friendly printed paper is utilized for the packaging material. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The dimensions are 5.5 centimeters in width and 11 centimeters in height, with a fold located at the top of the package. TAGS: Branding, Typography, Pastry, Words, Colors RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Patisserie Chez Mikki offers a range of baked goods and supplies pastries to several coffee shops in the local area. To convince customers to select their products over competitors, the brand redesign should strengthen its image and establish a distinctive selling point. CHALLENGE: The challenge was to create a series of packaging that maintains a cohesive visual appearance while emphasizing the distinctiveness of each product. The objective of the packaging was to establish a robust brand identity and increase its recognition among customers in a fiercely competitive market.
