| DESIGN NAME: Gargantua PRIMARY FUNCTION: Earrings INSPIRATION: Inspired by the black hole Gargantua, various functional models and abstract mathematical concepts under the chaos theory continue to create various hypotheses. Designs try to incorporate trends that recur over time into jewelry. Orderly line shape connects the jewelry with the changes of celestial bodies, showing the beauty of flow. Only the love and knowledge runs through the entire time and space, and it is specially designed for young people who yearn for the stars and the unknown. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Attempt to describe disordered and steady-state forms of motion for chaotic systems. The regular accretion disk outline and the black sphere in the middle reveal the expansion and structure of the universe. The streamlined shape reveals an organic form, reflecting a dynamic sense of extension and destiny. Experience the silence of space and trace the traces of existence. Jewelry is an extension of man, and man is an extension of the universe, and the two coexist harmoniously. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The design boldly presents sculptural visual effects, as well as the sense of reality and contradiction of functional models, presenting dynamic shapes with smooth outlines and carefully designed parametric structures. The sandblasted material brings a subtle dreamy oriental mythology. The wearer can feel the creativity brought by the combination of 3D technology and artistic design, as well as the mysterious and solemn atmosphere of the black hole, which conveys a unique temperament. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in Shanghai in August 2022 and will be completed in Shenzhen in January 2023. |
