| DESIGN NAME: Marmo PRIMARY FUNCTION: Tiles INSPIRATION: The perhaps unusual combination of ceramic tiles and fashion was born out of our love and passion for beauty. Both brands: Cerrad and La Mania Home happen to share a love of art, fashion, travel and design, which was brought into the world of interiors through a joint effort. As part of this joint venture, gres tile collections came to fruition, tiles inspired by the beauty of the surrounding world and the style of fascinating place – Morocco and Thassos. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Perfection epitomized in marble. For these extraordinary tiles take us on a delightful journey that begins on a beautiful Greek island and ends in exotic Morocco. Thassos, inspired by its sandy beaches and distinctive light-coloured buildings contrasting with the blue sky and azure water, is the bright side of Marmo. Its opposite is the mysterious, somewhat mystical Morocco, in which the black reflects the beauty of the Arabian night, while the white reflections bring to mind the boundless sands of the Sahara. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The production technology helped to create a material with parameters exceeding those of natural stone. The wide range of formats: 120 x 280, 120 x 120, 60 x 120, allows you to fill any sized interior. Graphically, the collection is based on opposites - white & black, which attract and complement one another creating a coherent assortment. The technology also helped to create structure on even the large 120 x 280 formats. The black & white colors are equally deep on both, the matt and polished surfaces. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The Marmo collection has been available for sale since 2021. Its debut took place during the largest International Trade Fair of Ceramics and Bathroom Equipment - Cersaie, in Bologna. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: In mass-dyed gres – a very durable and timeless material (group Bia). Because we use the latest technology, the tiles are extremely durable and resistant to ware and tear, which makes them ideal for use in any type of space. Thanks to the LamGea technology, we were able to obtain a deep tile structure and a perfect mimicry of the natural stone surface with a thickness of only 6mm. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: In mass-dyed, glazed, rectified gres with a structural and polished surface. 2 colour variants: white - Thassos, black - Morocco Formats: 120 x 280, 120 x 120, 60 x 120, 80 x 80, 80 x 160. Mat, polished Format 120 x 280 with a 6mm thickness and a stone structure deserves special attention. High technical parameters and excellent aesthetics make these tiles very resistant with a low risk of cracking. Tiles are frost-resistant and have anti-slip properties, thanks to which they are suitable for indoor and outdoor use. TAGS: marmo, tiles, cerrad, lamania, fashion, design, thassos, morocco, home RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Testing was completed to confirm the tile performance parameters including, but not limited to: slip and frost resistance. The high quality of offered products has been attested to by affirmations, certificates and awards granted to the best manufacturers in the industry. CHALLENGE: The biggest challenge was choosing suitable natural resources and adapting the technology in such a way, where the surface of a 6mm thick tile ideally mimicked that of natural stone.
