PRIMARY FUNCTION: Exhibition Space
INSPIRATION: In the product exhibition space, the design integrates the shape and form of the unique ancient house culture of the Three Lanes and Seven Alleys into the space, and the curves of the cornice and the arched corner of the saddle wall of ancient house are extracted to present the shape of square with circle. In terms of the ZEEKR Pub located on the second floor, the designer fully integrates the characteristics of Fuzhou tea culture with brand creativity and store experience to create a comfortable tea house space. The bar area, its concept is inspired by the graceful form of the petals of jasmine, the city flower of Fuzhou.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The design team enlarges the exhibition area, makes the staircase visually clear, and chooses simple and open style in the international market as the overall design language, which can be used as a background to fully set off the products. The second floor arranges a space for leisure with a fantastic view, the orderly curves extracted from the cornice and the arched corner make this space full of ritual sense.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: On ground floor, people pick cars, choose configuration, enjoy artwork and consult with staffs; then climb upstairs to ZEEKR Pub, this is an urban parlor for car owners and friends to get together and explore new possibilities of life. Finally, visitors come to the terrace space, where the warm and comfortable atmosphere extends from indoor to outdoor.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project Design started in May 2022 and finished in November 2022 in Shanghai.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Materials used in the interior design include grey satin stainless steel, super white transparent glass, beige artistic paints, rock grey toned carpet, white light membrane, silver grey metallic curtain, beige grey quartzite slate, jasmine green artistic paints, jasmine green resin, natural wood, brass veneer.
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Following the extension of the flow line, people come to the corridor leading to the terrace, which is used as a user co-create space, and the co-create wall is inspired by the grid wall for tea storage. The end of the space is full of green vitality, the designer selects imitation limestone art paint for the wall to make indoor space and outdoor space interconnect and add natural texture.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: As for the locality, Fuzhou is also known as the "blessed" state. The tea stall and bookstore are unique lifestyle scene, which are recognized as the traditional cultural treasures in Fuzhou. Based on the research of local characteristics, designers want to fuse the brand's creativity with the shop experience to create an imaginative "FU" (floating) island, providing ZEEKR users with a space to explore the new possibilities of urban life and to feel the creative spirit of the present and future in ZEEKR's culture.
CHALLENGE: The main challenges in the design process are 3 points, that the retail facade cannot be altered ; the design area for the frontage and ground floor is small; the first floor is large but the space is dispersed by the core. Based on this objective condition, designers use existing site forms to simplify; differentiate layout with local characteristics of Fuzhou; and put the cost in the first floor - ZEEKR Pub that the user perceives directly.
