| DESIGN NAME: Yj PRIMARY FUNCTION: Side Table INSPIRATION: Inspired by designers' long-term thinking on solid wood furniture, it always presents a stable and quiet atmosphere. Therefore, the design extends the modeling atmosphere of wood furniture with a sense of orientation with the style of curved surface, adheres to the concept of organic, and creates a comfortable and relaxed living atmosphere. Based on the modern life scene, integrate the required functions. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The work adopts organic curve design, giving the wood a new 3D surface shape to improve its aesthetic feeling. Dynamic and static balance, aesthetic elements and functions are harmoniously integrated. Visual flow adds a sense of emptiness to the modern home space and conveys a unique and energetic feeling to users. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Because of its unique aesthetics, this coffee table can be used as a sculpture or decoration as well as a side table. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: It is processed by 3D curved CNC and directly assembled by cutting wood. The table top is coated with OSMO wax oil and the primer is unpainted. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Length 80cm, width 54cm, height 70cm TAGS: Furniture design, side table, furniture, sculpture RESEARCH ABSTRACT: As for wooden furniture, wood-based panels are usually composed of plane basic elements, sometimes adding a curved element at best. If the material is solid wood, you can add elements such as lines and original wood grain. We give wood a new curved 3D style, which is in line with the organic concept on the other hand. We also added some undulating textures to make the table more hierarchical visually.
