| DESIGN NAME: Luna Lankastar PRIMARY FUNCTION: The Night Witch INSPIRATION: During his young age, Maniacarta was always motivated by anime and video games, then once he grow up and gained many experiences in his career, with the passion he have and imagination he decided to create his own story related to witches and darkness, Maniacarta can't reveal so much about the story in detail what is about but it's around fantasy world and fights between gods, darkness and witches who need to protect the land of Linerma that Enix bring it to chaos for a reason that only one witch know. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Luna Lankastar the Night Witch of Linerma. This mysterious witch no one knows where she came, but long time ago, she was raised by the Goddess of Light Visatra, she teaches her all the powers and secrets that most known witches possess, so one day if the darkness arises, she will have the responsibility to protect everyone. As they are witches still trapped in another dark dimension that was created by Enix the god of chaos, Luna got a big responsibility on her back to free all the witches that was locked by the god of chaos enix and save Linerma from the darkness. But Luna has her dark side, and she cannot show it until she faces Enix as also before all the witches are back and set free, she asked Vatilia the Light Witch to unleash her power by summoning Antolia the Queen of Ice to shatter all the darkness that Enix created and release all the remaining locked witches in the abandoned land of Madula. What is the real secret of Luna and where did she come from! They are something very dark awaiting the witches in Linerma, can they join forces to defeat it. Once all witches are released can Linerma be saved! OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Luna is a mysterious witch and has a deep secret hiding inside of her only one person knows that. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project starts in the heart of Tokyo in January 2022 and it's updated each two months with new character designs and story reveal. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Character production and all design was made in Blender, sometimes, using Zbrush, Marvelous Designer, Substance painter, but mostly each character production and cinematic is using almost blender. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: They are many sizes for the artworks as also different cinematic shots. The main Artwork of Luna is a portrait of size 2250X3000 pixel TAGS: Witches,gods,darknes RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The research of this witch character started by looking into the Korean culture and especially the fashion model such as K-pop, but he wanted to create something unique and mysterious, so because his interest to fantasy and darkness, he start to gather many elements such as the magic blue necklace that luna wears as also the earrings she having and that's the only reference that he used for her, he went to look for interior design elements then combined and mixed many elements such as celling lamps, crescent to get the design of the magic earring. All other elements such as clothes design, hair style, and luna was from his imaginations. CHALLENGE: Regarding Luna and how she came to life, even Maniacarta doesn't know how that happen, at first once he gained a bit of experience in character design and CG art he wanted to create a CG model of a beautiful fashionable Korean girl, but then he starts to see something he never expects, someone from a far land coming from another dimension will come out from his screen and once he saw the magic, Luna the Night Witch of Linerma come to life. Even if we ask him to make another one like her wants or reproduce her from scratch, he doesn't think he can because is like a mystery for him and it's hard to reproduce and he wants to keep it like that.
