| DESIGN NAME: City Skyline PRIMARY FUNCTION: Exhibition Hall INSPIRATION: The CBD business district of Jinji Lake East has a 46-floor Zhonghai Fortune Building, with a height of 140 meters and a 360 degree high-altitude view, overlooks the city from the clouds, takes a panoramic view of the Oriental gate, Jinji Lake and the most prosperous business district in Suzhou.So the integration with the environment and the view of the city outside the window is very important for this space. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This is an exhibition hall located 140 meters above the ground, the skyline and the light of the city are all in one's eyes.This space was designed to spark the imagination of each individual. In contrast to a space for a set purpose, the space is filled with opportunities to invite something new, and to break away from conventional thoughts. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: This project is equipped with a lobby, an exhibition hall and a cafe. The narrow hallway and the open exhibition hall at the end form a contrast of light and dark space. You can have an interactive experience in the exhibition hall, and finally relax in the cafe to enjoy a cup of coffee while enjoying the city landscape outside the window, forming a social field with certain vitality. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in December 2021 in Suzhou and finished in March 2022 in Suzhou, and was opend in Suzhou in March 2022. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The panoramic glass curtain wall blurs the boundary between the urban landscape outside the window and the indoor space, and the separation of column and glass, forms the urban landscape with different sizes and scenes.The specular ceiling bring the scenery indoors, and at the same time, the specular material extends the space infinitely. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Area 600sqm TAGS: Exhibithion Hall, Suzhou, Interior Design, Cafe, Skyline RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The project is located in Jinji Lake Business District, the new center of Suzhou. Jinji lake business district has witnessed the development process of industrialization transformation, urbanization acceleration and internationalization promotion of Suzhou Industrial Park. It is the core area leading the high-quality development and innovations of Suzhou Industrial Park. It highlights the vitality and fashion of the city, Suzhou. CHALLENGE: The challenge of the project is that the internal space is spacious but the height is only 3 meters, resulting in a sense of pressure and poor spatial experience.Secondly, we wanted to break away from conventional thoughts.The city skyline as a unique landscape in the interior space.
