| DESIGN NAME: Shanan PRIMARY FUNCTION: Hotel INSPIRATION: Inspired by the surrounding bamboo sea and mountain scenery, the design language expresses the yearning and awe for nature. While enjoying the beautiful scenery, it can trigger deep thinking about life. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: "Shanan" is like an ideal city, isolated from the world in the green mountains, the song of birds, the air, and the sea of clouds. Halfway up the mountain, 17 guest rooms face the bamboo sea and mountains. "Shanan" is located deep in the bamboo sea forest on the Shenwang Line in Baofu Town, Anji. As the highest house on this mountain, it has the whole green and undulation of the mountain. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Here is more like an omnipotent ivory tower, containing all the yearning for a better life, as well as every surprise inadvertently in the corner. Rammed earth colored building walls restore color to nature; Geometric lines scattered, and more people have a sense of substitution into it. Generous in the use of floor-to-ceiling Windows, which frame the interior, bringing warmth and rustic beauty into the hard building. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Generous use of floor-to-ceiling window design, using Windows to frame the interior, let the hard building mixed with warm and rustic beauty. Major Materials： Art Paint, Wood Floor, Old Wood, Stone, Rock, Metal Hole SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Main building: 572 square meters; New building: 458 square meters; Auxiliary building 270 square meters; Restaurant: 148 square meters; The main building does not include corridor space area is 458 square meters; The area including aisle space is 680 square meters. TAGS: B&B, Bamboo Sea Forest, Unobstructed Viewing Terrace, Private Soup Hot Spring into the Household, Natural Wilderness, RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The meaning of a vacation is not to go to every scenic spot every day or to get lost in a good view. Shan'an" brings a beautiful, healthy and healing way of life. People often miss and feel the power of happiness later in their exhausting daily lives. CHALLENGE: The site was located halfway up the mountain. The biggest challenge was to consider how to present the mountain view in the space without loss of privacy, and it also needed to be designed four independent buildings with the local landscape characteristics.
